Born from a desire for something gentler.
Rooted in the Italian word for “silky”, SETOSA reflects the experience we wanted skincare to create: refined, sensorial and effortlessly soft.
Proudly Australian-owned and crafted in Italy, SETOSA brings together ethical ingredient sourcing, Italian formulation expertise and a distinctly considered approach to daily skincare.
We developed the collection in collaboration with the International Institute of Heliciculture in Cherasco, a recognised centre for the ethical production and scientific study of snail mucin.

Every SETOSA formulation begins with COSMOS-certified snail mucin, collected through the Cherasco Method®—a gentle, non-invasive process designed to protect the wellbeing of the snails and the purity of their secretion.
The mucin is then paired with carefully selected hydrating, restorative and age-defying ingredients to create elegant textures that feel indulgent while respecting the skin.

Working alongside Ilaria and the laboratory team allowed us to be involved in the collection at its source—from understanding the hero ingredient and the farming method to shaping formulations that reflect the experience we wanted SETOSA to offer.
